We may alter these Conditions at any time and your use of the whole/any part of the Website following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions then you must immediately stop using the Website.
You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Website. This site may include content that is unsuitable for anyone under the age of 16. By making any purchase you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.
You should assume that everything you see and read on the Website is copyrighted unless otherwise noted and may not be used except as provided by the Conditions.
We only collect personal information during the Checkout process should you place an order to purchase products on the Contort website. This information is used to enable processing and fulfilment of your order. At no other time is any personally identifiable information collected on Contort’s website.
The only information collected during the Checkout process is typical customer, billing and shipping information, including customer name, e-mail address, mailing address.
Contort takes the privacy of its customers very seriously, and will only collect information in order to fulfil customer orders, provide information via our e-mail new release lists or seek your feedback regarding our services. We do not sell or share mailing lists or customer information with any other companies or individuals.
Your customer information is also made available to Contort who safeguard it according to their own privacy policies and may use it for their own internal marketing and/or promotional programs. Your customer information is not disclosed to any other third-parties whatsoever.
PHYSICAL PRODUCTS AND PURCHASES ON OUR WEBSITE
By sending a purchase request in the “webshop” you are making a request for the purchase of the relevant product(s).
The request becomes a binding order only after a valid payment has been sent to us.
You also confirm to us, at your own risk, a valid home address for the shipping.
Until complete payment of the sales price has been effected, the delivered goods shall remain the property of Contort.
No contract for the sale of any product will subsist between you and us until the items ordered have been received by you. At any time until this point we may cancel the sale for any reason.
All orders are made subject to acceptance by you of these Conditions and fulfilment of any order for Products is subject to stock availability and acceptance by us of your order. We are under no obligation to fulfil any customer order.
You may cancel your order at any time prior to your order being dispatched by using the contact form via the website.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING
All orders are packaged as best as possible to ensure items will not get damaged during shipping.
The record(s) is placed between two cardboard stiffeners and then inserted into a heavyweight cardboard mailer and secured well with packing tape.
All packages are shipped via regular post from Berlin, Germany.
*****If you’d like your records to be shipped with registered post for an additional charge, please send us an email through the contact form and we can make the necessary arrangements. We use DHL in Germany (with tracking) and Deutsche Post for ROW (no tracking or insurance). ROW tracked and insured rates are available upon request.
We are NOT responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages that have NOT been shipped via registered post.
In case of pre-ordered items, the order will be shipped within 7 days from the day of availability of the goods in our warehouse.
Contort is not responsible for minor cosmetic damage that may take place during shipping. In particular, corner dings/bends are very difficult to prevent and we cannot issue refunds or replacements. We take extra care in providing extra protection when packing orders but sometimes unfortunately the postal services do not handle our packages with care.
Warped, damaged and/or defective vinyl will of course be replaced or refunded.
We do our best to fulfill and ship your orders as quickly as possible. We are a small, humble operation made up of human beings who do their best to get you what you ordered, packed carefully and the quickest we possibly can.
We offer a returns policy on all physical items.
Damaged or defective goods: in the unlikely event that you receive products which are damaged or defective, we shall, at our own option, either replace or refund any damaged or defective products (including the postage and packing you were charged).
You must notify us of the problem through the contact form and, after our reply, return the products in the same condition that you received them (and the same type of packing).
We will send you the replacement products according to the availability of our warehouse and ONLY AFTER receiving the returned items.
If items are not delivered due to a mistake on our part you will be completely refunded, or sent the package again without extra charge; whichever you prefer.
If you submit your address incorrectly and do not notify us before the order is sent, we cannot refund the postage costs.
